At Kala Suite, we prioritize your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information through our website (kalasuite.com) and the Kala PDF desktop application.

1. 100% Offline Document Processing

Kala PDF is an offline-first desktop utility. Your PDF documents are processed entirely on your local machine and are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud.

2. Data Collection (Website)

We only collect your email address during the purchase process via Lemon Squeezy to deliver your license key.

3. License Activation

When you activate your Pro license, the application sends your product key and a device identifier to our license verification service for a one-time online verification. This request is used only to issue and bind your license for that device. Your PDF files are not uploaded during activation, and day-to-day document processing remains local.

4. No Tracking

We do not use analytics, cookies, or trackers within the Kala PDF desktop application to monitor your activity. What you do on your machine stays on your machine.

5. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We do not process or store your credit card or financial information.
