Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 12, 2026

By using Kala PDF and the services provided at kalasuite.com, you agree to the following terms:

1. License Grant

Upon purchase, Kala Suite grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Kala PDF under the purchased plan. The Free version is intended for personal evaluation and internal testing only, and exports include the footer Generated with KalaPDF Free Version. Pro is licensed for personal, professional, and commercial use, and removes the footer from output files.

2. Payment and Support

All transactions are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record. If you have a payment, license delivery, or order support question, contact us at support@kalasuite.com with your order details.

3. Usage Restrictions

You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the Kala PDF software. Distribution of generated license keys to non-authorized third parties is strictly prohibited. Commercial use of the Free version is not permitted; Pro is required for production and commercial workflows.

4. Offline Functionality

Kala PDF processes PDF documents locally on your device and does not upload your files to our servers. Pro activation requires a one-time online connection to bind the license to your device. After activation, normal day-to-day use can continue offline.

5. Limitation of Liability

Kala PDF is provided "as is." Kala Suite is not liable for any data loss or damages resulting from the use of the software, as document management is performed completely locally under the user's control.

6. Updates

We may provide periodic updates to improve functionality or security. Lifetime license holders are entitled to all minor and major updates within the specific major version purchased (e.g. v1.x).
